Think you know the women of flamenco?

Deborah Elias's work "Las Flamencas" unravels the iconic appeal of flamenco women and their legendary art form. Join her journey in and out of satire, sorrow and celebration, inspired by the power, vulnerability, and strong self-identity of the flamenco female, past and present. Be there as dynamic solos and ensemble dances weave together with spellbinding original music.

Featuring Deborah Elias, special guests flamenco singer Vicente Griego (Albuquerque) and guitarist Gabriel Osuna (Los Angeles), and talented local artists: Guitarist Trevor May and dancers Andrea Plevan, Christine Kozachok, Catherine Higgins Whiteside, Yung-Tsi Bolon, Grace Holthaus, and Sarah Bartlett. Presented at Intermedia Arts, Minneapolis, MN.
